A gala screening of the Azerbaijani crime-themed tragicomedy "Qapı" (The Door) took place at the premium cinema “CineMastercard”, located in the “Ganjlik Mall” shopping center.

The event was a great success. Guests warmly welcomed the main cast of the gala evening. A full house and the enthusiastic reaction of the audience confirmed the film's triumph, which evoked a storm of emotions and left unforgettable impressions.

The film was directed and produced by Vusal Ahmedzade, with Orkhan Mammadov as director of photography and the original idea by Alihan Rajabov. The screenplay was written by Vusal Ahmedzade, Emin Efendiyev, and Alihan Rajabov. The production designer was Elturan Mammadov, composer Ruzgar Ahmedzade, executive producer Ibrahim Heydarov, and editor and colorist Iman Imanov.

Cast includes: Rafael Iskenderov, Nurlan Rustamov, Taleh Yuzbekov, Sanuber Iskenderli, Kamala Piriyeva, Kamran Agabalayev, Zemfira Abdulsamedova, Emil Musayev, Ilkin Khalil, and others.

Brief synopsis: Vafa, who works as a housekeeper for a powerful businessman, decides to commit a robbery to start a new life. She turns to her brother Vidadi for help — a man who hasn’t been able to see his son for over a year due to unpaid alimony and is tired of his life. After convincing him, they involve their cousin Cavad, who has served multiple prison terms for theft. During the robbery, Cavad and Vidadi break the door and get stuck inside the house. What follows is a series of intense and dramatic developments.
