The premiere of the film "Taghiyev: Oil," which tells the life and activities of the great philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, was held at the "CineMastercard" premium cinema located in the “Gənclik Mall” TM.

The film was produced by the Baku Media Center with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Ministry of Culture, and the Film Agency.

"Taghiyev: Oil" is the first episode of the multi-episode film "Taghiyev," dedicated to the life of the millionaire and philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev.

The film touches on significant historical events that took place in Baku and the regions of Azerbaijan in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This four-episode film is a major contribution to promoting the history of Azerbaijan and national values, marking the 100th anniversary of the philanthropist's death in 2024.

The production of the film is historic in the context of Azerbaijani cinema. Filming took place in 76 different locations, and nearly 2,500 creative professionals participated in the crowd scenes. Over 300 decorations were created for the historical scenes, and a special costume workshop was set up to accurately reflect the period in which Taghiyev lived, producing numerous garments, accessories, jewelry pieces, and special props.

The executive producer of the film is Arzu Aliyeva, the producer is Orman Aliyev, the director is Zaur Qasimli, the scriptwriters are Ismayil Iman, Asif Isgenderli, and Zaur Qasimli, the cinematographer is Vladimir Artemyev, the artist is Sabuhi Atababayev, the costume designer is Vusal Rahim, and the composer is Etibar Asadli.

The film features a wide range of professional actors, including People's Artist Perviz Mammadrazayev (Taghiyev), Qurban Ismayilov, Honored Artist Rasim Jafar, Elshan Rustamov, and Natavan Hajiyeva, who portray historical figures.

The invited guests at the premiere watched the film with great interest and were deeply impressed.
